Catch-a-balls is all about building the basic repertoire of skills in children so they can enter the world of sport with physical confidence. We run courses for children 18 months to 5 years old. Our blog follows Catch a Balls thoughts, successes and updates, as we strive to be the leading provider of initial sports development classes for children.

Had time to watch the Catch-a-balls classes today as our new coach Lisa took over. Often I observe that children find the greatest reward in success, so they catch the ball or throw the bean bag into the hoop. Claps all round everyone happy. But this week we have our wobble and reaction balls out. Now these are affectionately known a "crazy" balls as they are not circular so do not bounce straight. It is amazing how a room full of children can essentially be "failing" to catch a ball but have the most enormous fun chasing these "crazy" balls around the room. Not one child or a single parent gave up bouncing these balls around the room.
